Fifty feet above the Mediterranean Sea

Low-level oblique photograph of four Bristol Blenheim Mark IVs of No. 21 Squadron RAF Detachment based at Luqa, Malta, fly past Linosa Island (one of Pelagie Island)at 50 feet (15 meters) above the Mediterranean Sea while on an anti-shipping strike. At the end of 1941 the No 21 Squadron moved from Great Britain to Malta to attack Italian shipping. The Squadron was disbanded in Malta on 14 March 1942. Consequently this photo was taken between this dates. Victor Sierra
