Grand reception hall of Albert Speer's Reich Chancellery, Berlin, under examination by Soviet officers, 1945.  The Reich Chancellery was for the most part a venue for state functions and, simply, as an architectural emblem of Nazi power.  Like most of Speer's work on behalf of the National Socialists, the Reich Chancellery was totally demolished in the aftermath of the war.  Best regards, JR.
