Close up of a “Chirri”, the Spanish nickname of Fiat CR.32, the Italian biplane fighter arrived in Spain for the first time on August 1936. Employed by Italians and Spanish pilots during the Spanish Civil War, the Escuadrillas equipped with “Chirri” was nineteen on August 1938. After the Civil War was built in Spain under license at Seville by Hispano with the name HA-132L for the new Spanish Air Force. The latter equipped with the “Chirri”, military denomination C-1, the Grupos 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and the Escuela de Caza (fighter school) until year 1953. Victor Sierra
