Marvin Strombo, WW2 Marines Italo-American veteran, 93 years old, returns back the flag found on the Saipan battlefield 73 years ago. Strombo met the family and the younger brother and sisters (about 90 y.o.) of Sadao Yasue, the fallen Japanese soldier wich owned the flag. On the flag there're 180 signatures of Yasue's relatives and friends who enjoyed good fortune. Anyway, really a beautiful and moving gesture. DVX

The picture shows a young SS man captured during a routine search of all suspicious military aged men at a train station. Having discovered his blood group tattoo, the SS man is kicked off from the train door to the awaiting British soldiers. His tattoo is filmed as evidence.
