A view along a street where the building fronts were converted into the Wall. the chain marks the actual border of E. Berlin.The 3 posts on the sidewalk area are monuments to people killed by the VoPo while trying to escape the East. although difficult to see, there are millions of glass shards mortared into the top edge of the wall. 
 Beyond the Wall, lies the Death Strip, and Eastern Apartment Blocks.

Along the Wall of Shame, Berlin W. Germany

 This was the Uniform of the E. German Military in the early 70's though this was a fancy version due to the nature of the Duty. The Uniform is not far removed from the Wehrmacht days, and they use the SKS Carbine instead of the contemporary AK-47.
