The Polish artist Jerzy Szumczyk made this sculpture which he named "Komm frau" (come here woman). But the sculpture with a Soviet soldier raping a pregnant German women was to much for Gdansk’s Avenue of Victory, and it was forcefully removed by the autorities Monday October 14th, after just one day.

Jerzy Szumczyk was subsecuently arrested by the Polish police.
