I'm aware this is not WW2 related but I wanted to share it anyway ;) Our Belgian Army devised a anti-rocket system to protect armored vehicles against the most common threath worldwide against armor: the famous RPG-7. The system called 'slat-armor' is designed to protect vehicles of the 'Armored Personnel carrier' family like for instance the the Piranha III.It's a exterior metal fence to make the rockets explode before they actually hit the vehicle itself. To return to WW2,this reminds me in a way of the bedspring device Soviet tankers used to protect their tanks against Panzerfausts.Nothing new under the sun.I guess someone in the Belgian Army read books on WW2 :)
