From Victor Sierra to Razz and the other friendly interested to colorized the G.55 Yellow Five’s picture just posted (Italian Forces, Yellow Five): the “modern” G.55 Yellow Five of the Italian Air Force Museum. The aircraft was perfectly rebuilt from an airframe of a Fiat G.59 (in practice the G.55’s airframe with Rolls-Royce Merlin engine) on 1996-1997 on request of the Lieut. Gen. Mario Arpino, at this time chief of staff Italian Air Force, incidentally nephew of a ANR’s pilot, and showed in public for the first time during a great air show at Pratica di Mare on 1998 (base of Italian Air Force’s Flight Test Center). Afterward was transferred at Vigna di Valle’s Museum. Victor Sierra
