June Tull, of Southampton, England, and Heinz Fellbrich (fallschrimjager and PoW in England) from rural East Prussia prior to their wedding, 14 August 1947.  June was the first English woman to marry a German PoW following the lifting of the "non-fraternisation" directive by Prime Minister Attlee in December, 1946. Willi Einrichs, fallschirmjager captured at Monte Cassino and subsequenly interned in England, marries Irene Farndell of Chichester, England, 29 November, 1947.  I hope they lived happily ever after (or as close as it is possible to come to that state in practice ...)  Best regards, JR.
