The legendary Russian sniper Vassili Grigorievich Zaitsev in ederly years wearing his " Hero of the Soviet Union" medal,throughout the war he fought at Stalingrad,Donbass,Dniepr,Odessa,and Dniestr achieving over 400 confirmed kills - 242 of them during the battle of Stalingrad.
