Controls of ME 262 at the DVHAA musuem

Restored/reconstructed Cromwell Mk IV tank mounted on the British 7th Armoured Division ("Desert Rats") memorial at their pre-D-Day training ground, Thetford Forest.  The UK Ministry of Defence has just announced that, as part of their apparently never-ending series of defence cuts, the Division's successor, 7th Armoured Brigade, is to lose its tanks and be incorporated in an infantry formation.  Sic Transit Gloria Mundi ...  JR.

Sounding the Retreat ...

This is the last ME-262 Trainer in the world. It can be seen at the DVHAA Musuem at Willow Grove Naval Station in Pennsylvania. It was completely disassembled and used to make blue prints for the five fighter jet replicas being made.
