Ishimaru Shiniti was famous baseball player in pre-war japan, and in 1944 he decided to join in the japanese navy air force and trained in the nagoya naval base, in 1945 he decided to join in the kamikaze corps and partipated in a suicide mission against the american fleet during the battle of okinawa, he becamed the only baseball player to died in a kamikaze mission
