Hungarian AF Junkers Bombers, 1941-1942

Serving on the Eastern front, an Italian-made bomber is being loaded with bombs by its Hungarian crew. When Italy could not supply any more ammunition, German and captured Russian bombs were used by the RHAF.

Showing the Hungarian tail markings of the later war years, a lone Stuka tank-buster plane is shown in flight on the Eastern front, one of the few available to the RHAF. Some of these Magyar-insignia planes served in the Battle of Kursk, 1943.
