Hungary paid a high price for its participation in WW2, including many tens of thousands of battle casualties. Here is a Honved military cemetery in Kiev, Ukraine, sometimes during 1942-1943. The current status of this land area is unknown to me.

Moscow hoped to reduce its huge manpower losses after the war by keeping hundreds of thousands of POW's as forced laborers in mines, factories, and farms.
