Moscow hoped to reduce its huge manpower losses after the war by keeping hundreds of thousands of POW's as forced laborers in mines, factories, and farms. A POW Returns to Hungary

Hungary paid a high price for its participation in WW2, including many tens of thousands of battle casualties. Here is a Honved military cemetery in Kiev, Ukraine, sometimes during 1942-1943. The current status of this land area is unknown to me.
