As with the subsequent Summer Olympics, a considerable effort was made to tone down (if possible out) images of Nazi Germany that might not go down so well with the outside world. However, the regime still, clearly, had lessons to learn on the art of cover-up. This official signboard - self-explanatory - was snapped by a British news photographer. Embarrassingly for the Nazis, it received worldwide newspaper circulation. Best regards, JR.
