He and his administration spoiled the original good relationships between the Belorussian population and the German invaders. To the left of Lohse the regional NSDAP director and a liaison officer of the Army. Hinrich Lohse was arrested by the British on May 25, 1945 and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Ernst Kaltenbrunner (*October 4, 1903 in Ried i. Innkreis/Austria, +October 16, 1946 in Nuremberg). Doctorated jurist, senior NS official and Chief of the RSHA (Reichssicherheitshauptamt = Reich Main Security Office). Being one of the 24 major defendants during the Nuremberg Trials Kaltenbrunner (nicknamed &quot;scarface&quot; by the guard personnel) was found guilty of war-crimes and crimes against humanity. He was sentenced to death and executed on October 16, 1946.
