A German officer studying a myriad of divisional post and roadsigns that seems to have been nailed to and around what looks like an advertising pavilion. Location unknown but I think maybe Austria.

A picture of German infantry on what looks like a pre-war battle exerciser.  The reason I posted this picture even though I don't have much information on it is because I find it fascinating. From the front line of soldiers on it almost looks like miniatures.

Training 

Late (1945) 'photo of a Panzerschreck 54 in firing position.  This clearly shows the removable side-mounting of the blast shield, and the swinging tab that formed part of the mechanism allowing the removal of the mica aiming window for cleaning.  The latter feature was important, as it proved difficult in practice to clean the window in situ, and the window was prone to become obscured by the filth, propellant gases and so on contained in the backblast, requiring regular cleaning.
