The Kazakh was one of three captured Russians serving with Artillerie Regiment 363, and the two Poles were amongst a group of seven from an unknown Kriegsmarine unit.(rudeerude)

Funeral of Major Walter Klein, commander III./IR 193. The coffin is covered with a swastika flag and put on a gun carriage.

Interesting side note, the gun is a 10,5-cm leFH 16, a german light field howitzer from WW1, which was still in some use during WW2.
