Funeral of Major Walter Klein, commander III./IR 193. The coffin is covered with a swastika flag and put on a gun carriage.

Interesting side note, the gun is a 10,5-cm leFH 16, a german light field howitzer from WW1, which was still in some use during WW2.

Prisoners rounded up by British troops on Monday 18th September; a suspected collaborator (left) and three foreign soldiers, a Kazakh (left) and two Poles, who had been pressed into service with the Wehrmacht.
