This German Tiger Tank is loaded on a giant trailer, unusual in that these tanks of the 2nd Panzer Division "Das Reich" were usually transported on special flatrail cars, making them obvious targets for saboteurs. (scanned by HOS Bandit)

Tiger on a Trailer

A cropped version of this photo was posted recently. The shot was taken in a road near Villers-Bocage, June 1944, by Arthur Grimm, one of the most famous German photographers. Panzers in Villers-Bocage

This is an odd picture, it looks like a painting. Its credited photographer, however, is quite respected: Arthur Grimm. I guess it’s an authentic shot, only the colorizer is not a match to Za Rodinu, or Imi, or Lex, or someone alike in this site.
