The Messerschmitt Me 323 Gigant ("Giant") was a German military transport aircraft of World War II. and was the largest land-based transport aircraft of the war. A total of 213 are recorded as having been made.

The HE 111 was the most numerous bomber the Germans used early in the war.  It did well until the Battle of Britain when it's weak defensive armament, slow speed, and lack of  manoeuvrability were exposed.  It was able to withstand heavy damage and remain airborne.  The HE 111 also served as a torpedo bomber, strategic bomber, and transport aircraft.
