112 Squadron
This Caproni Ca.100 “Caproncino” (“Little Caproni”), fuselage code GA-2, former civil italian registration I-GUAS, is one of five planes of this types used by the Aero Club di Catania (Catania Flying Club), captured by the British Forces after the conquest of the Sicily and went: three to No. 112 Squadron RAF, one to No. 3 Squadron RAAF and one to No. 450 Squadron RAAF. In particular the GA-2 is one of three planes of No. 112 Squadron RAF which flown the “Caproncino” at Agnone, August-September 1943 and used for taking maintenance personnel on joy rides.
