Another Bovril advertisement, appearing in the September, 1943 edition of "Country Life" magazine.  Here, the beefy paste is promoted as a way of adding flavor to a stew that, otherwise, might contain little or no meat.  An interesting point is that this advertisement was placed in "Country Life" - a magazine aimed at the more affluent elements of British society.  Best regards, JR.
