The Slovak Pilot Badge was awarded from January 1943 to all Slovak military pilots in WW2.

There were four variants of the Slovak Pilot Badge:

- Field Night Pilot Badge: Eagle and wreath in gold
- Field Observer Badge: Eagle in gold, wreath in silver
- Field Night Observer Badge: Eagle in silver, wreath in gold
- Field Observer Badge Field Observer Staff: Eagle and wreath in silver

The coat of arms was always colored like the eagle. It was worn on the left breast pocket.

Slovak Pilot Badge

Salvador Dali's ... enigmatic postwar painting, "The Enigma of Hitler".  Salvador may not have been so ... ambivalent (?) about Fascism while it was still live in its original manifestation; but it is hard to know.  He was, after all, enigmatic.  Apparently, this painting resulted in Dali being "thrown out of the Surrealist Movement".  That is, really, a mind-blowing concept - how does one get thrown out of a Movement that was not exactly noted for membership lists and rule books ?  A bit like being thrown out of Alcoholics Anonymous for Not Drinking in the Wrong Way ... but then, AA is pretty enigmatic itself ... Yours from the Far Side of Antares, JR.
