There are no words ....

British cartoonist David Low's view of the brand-new British Soviet alliance against Hitler, generated "automatically" by the commencement of Operation Barbarossa.  Only days before, Low had been producing cartoons denigrating the cynically close relationship between Hitler and Stalin.  I think that the disorientating effect of the sudden "switch" is evident in this image and in the image behind it.  Best regards, JR.

US Government encourages "the Little Woman" to overcome the rigors of rationing by "canning" (preserving) her own perishable foods.  A very American image - if our American friends do not mind me saying so ...   Mind you, I am not sure what most of the "Little Women" would make of this approach, were it to be addressed to them now ... Best regards, JR.
