MG John B. Anderson, final assignment, Cmdr U.S. XVI Corps, Ninth Army, 21st Army Group, European Theatre.  General Anderson is commemorated in Roermond, Holland, where troops under his command occupied Roermond on March 1, 1945.  The city honored General Anderson and his command with a parade in celebration of the war's end on June 6, 1945.  This was a special honor and highlight of my Grandfather's military career.  He graduated from West Point with the Class of 1914.  He retired shortly after the end of WWII after 35 years of service.

I don't have any information about this photo other than it's either my Uncle or my Grandfather, both named Robert Black of Glasgow, Scotland. If it's my Grandfather it's WWI, and if it's my uncle it's WWII. Can anyone ID by the uniform?
