
U.S.S. Quincy, a Baltimore class heavy cruiser of the United States Navy.
In Belfast Lough (sea inlet) Northern Ireland she began final preparations for the invasion of Europe. - At 0537,  on June 6, 1944, she engaged shore batteries from her station on the right flank of Utah Beach, conducted highly accurate pinpoint firing against enemy targets.
