Navy LST during Okinawa Campaign
Anchored in the Kerama Retto, Ryukyu Islands, in June 1945, at the close of the Okinawa campaign. Photographed by E.H. Moriarty. The ship is painted in a green color design of the Measure 31-32-33 series. LST-1097 later became USS League Island (AG-149 and AKS-30).
