More Cesar Romero

Cesar Romero enlisted in the Coast Guard in Oct. 1942. He was a deck hand on the USS Cavalier, an assault transport which saw action during the invasions of Tinian and Saipan. He preferred to be a part of the regular crew, making the rating of Chief Boatswains Mate.
