A 155 mm howitzer M1 "Long Tom", of the 34th Field Artillery Battalion, U.S. 9th Infantry Division, shown on a rural road, probably in France, towed by an M5 high speed fully track vehicle . The M5 was developed by using the chassis of the M3 Stuart light tank.
