Loading of American wounded into a Douglas C-47 (Skytrain) transport aircraft on the ALG A-21 (Advanced Landing Ground) in the Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, France, area. On the Douglas C-47, there were 24 stretchers. The flight to the UK lasted 45 minutes.
