A GI of the 80th Infantry Division and civilians crossing the badly damaged bridge at La Roche, Belgium in January 1945. The bridge had been partially destroyed by the Allies at the start of the Bulge to prevent the Germans from crossing the Ourthe River. This photo was taken on January 11, 1945.
