After shelling the Legislature Building and Intramuros (Historic walled section of the city) with a three day barrage of artillery fire, "C" Company of the 148th Infantry move toward the Legislature Building in the early morning. Tanks on the right  have ceased firing on the building and have moved back. This is probably Taft avenue.
