Under the watchful eyes of U.S. troops bearing bayonets, members of the Italo-German armistice commission in Morocco are rounded up to be taken to Fedala, north of Casablanca, on November 18, 1942. Commission members were surprised in American landing move.

The picture makes me wonder about a few things.The rather relaxed pose of the bazooka team,very exposed position;How can they know the Panther has no infantry backup?Secondy ,the downward position of the barrel.If this is an active Panther protecting a crossroad,the barrel would be in a more horizontal position,ready to fire.Unless the bazooka shot can make the barrel drop instantly upon hitting the panzer I think the Panther was already out of action and this is a shot to make sure it's dead or a shot for photographic reason.What are your opinions on this photo?Thx :)
