These Japanese prisoners were among those captured by U.S. forces on Guadalcanal Island in the Solomon Islands, shown November 5, 1942.

September 1944,Belgium.With the prospect of winter coming,Captain Gibson of the US Army is working on his jeep.Using plywood to make a roof and doors.At least he would have some protection from the snow and cold winds that were to come in a few weeks.
