Italian Campaign

I hesitated to post this, but since it seems to show some humanity that existed between enemy soldiers. This was from a U.S. Army Sgt. in action in Italy to his wife. texag57 "This German was shot 2 times in stomach. While I was trying to find some more bandages in his field pack I found this nice camera. He gave it to me. This was in the camera. All these pictures was taken with this camera. Near Formia, Italy, May 15, 1944. He died." "Keep this. I will tell you about this Jerry some day. He can't talk now."
