Commander of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, George C. Marshall visits VI Corps troops assembled in Remiremont. Marshall later authored the Marshall Plan — the basis for rebuilding Europe — and is the only professional soldier to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

U.S Troops pose for a group shot next to a knocked out Panther, unsure how the Panther ended up on its side, i would guess it could have been caused by Naval gun fire or even Tank hunter rockets from P-51's or Typhoons? -  Normandy 1944
