“My Gal", Battle Number 08, Martin B-26B-45-MA Marauder, s/n 42-95753, one of the airplanes of the 320th Bombardment Group’s 441st Bomber Squadron, 441st BS, 320th BG, 12th Air Force approaching the target from French Mediterranean Coast, 4 August 1944. This day the target were the Ventimiglia Railroad Bridge West, on the border between Italy and France, reached by 12 B-26 of the the 320th BG, based in Sardinia, at Decimomannu airfield, but the target was missed. “My Gal" was lost, when the 320th BG were based in France, at Dijon, on 23 December 1944 during a mission in Germany, against gun positions at Breisach. The aircraft was hit by a Flak direct hit. All seven crew’s men KIA. Victor Sierra
