A supply ship helicopter takes off in a swirl of dust from the base of Suribachi on Iwo Jima. Superfortresses, Mustangs and other war-planes are a dime a dozen at Iwo Jima, but the helicopter, ignoring runways to land where it pleases, gathers a crowd at each stop.(rudeerude)
