Flight Officer Dana T.Mudd ,a 91 st TCS glider pilot after landing near Groesbeek(The Netherlands-Market Garden 1944).After a few days in the Nijmegen area,he and other glider pilots made their way south towards Brussels.They ended up in the fighting near Veghel where the Germans cut the corridor.Dana Mudd was reported MIA.Today he is buried at Neuville-en-Condroz(Belgium).

P-39 Airacobra during a test flight with all weapons firing,1941.Some variants were armed with .50 and .30 caliber machineguns plus a 37 mm cannon.In TOO were weight was a problem the .30 guns were deleted.Early models of the 37 mm cannon were built by Oldsmobile and had a magazine holding 15/20 rounds.Later models of the P-39 carried a 20mm cannon.The RAF recieved its P-39 but they called them P-400's.Compared to the Hurricane and Spitfire it proved less capable for the British.Later the RAF passed them on to the Russian Airforce.Greetz,Brummbar
