Damaged over Coblenz,Germany on the return flight from bombing the marshaling yards at Hanau,Germany on November 11,1944. She crash landed at her home field of Tibenham.

P-47D-30-RE Thunderbolt s/n 44-20473 353rd FS, 354th FG, 9th AF.This plane was flown by Maj. Glenn Eagleston, the commanding officer of the 353rd FS. He was the top ace of the 9th AF with 18.5 victories.The crewman riding on the wing was there to help guide the plane on the taxiways.(rudeerude)
