"Hookem Cow" s/n 42-95120 from the 754th Bomb Squadron, 458th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.
She crashed on takeoff for a mission to Pointe de Grave,France on April 14,1945. The plane hit power lines and crashed in a field. They only had a partial crew of seven on board at the time. The only two survivors were the two men in the waist of the plane,who were badly injured.

"Hang the Expense III" 351st BS,100th BG
Hit by flak over Frankfurt,the blast blew the tail gunner,Roy Urich,out of the plane. The rest of the crew learned later that Urich survived unhurt. Years later,other crews reported seeing him flying through the formation still sitting on the tail gunner's bicycle seat and holding the handles to his twin .50's.(rudeerude)
