German teenagers who had been members of one of the Wehrmacht auxiliary units, were captured along with others, by the 9th Armored Division of the United States. Boy soldiers

The beginning of the 9th Army's autumn offensive in mid-November, 1944. Here, a column of tanks and armored infantry leave their jump-off points and head forward to engage the Germans.  On  Nov. 18th, 117th Infantry Regiment men rode on tanks of the 734rd Tank Battalion.
