The M3 75mm GMC - an M1897 75mm gun mounted on an M3 halftrack (the M3A1 halftrack was also used, resulting in - you'll never guess - the M3A1 75mm GMC). This photo shows an M3 75mm Gun Motor Carriage, assigned to the Special Weapons Company of the 2nd Marine Division, Tinian, 30 July 1944.
