Soviet 152mm gun set up in an emergency anti-tank role. These field artillery pieces proved reasonably accurate in the direct fire role, and their massive HE shells could literally smash in the armor of most German AFVs until the advent of the Tiger. Even the German heavy tanks feared the concussion and subsequent armor interior "scabbing" from a hit from 152mm gun.
