An amazingly old Red Army soldier(s) captured in Tienhaara, near Viborg. 11th of July, 1944. After loosing all capable younger combat soldiers many units tended to either take men from support units or they just used old men just like young boys as combat soldiers as "normal rutine".

An example how some soldiers tended to self-mutilate themselves to evade battle. This one Red Army soldier had shoot to his hand but anyway later surrendered to Finns near in Vyborg (Viborg, Viipuri). July 1944.
