Soviet Forces
During WWII the soviet government decided to make a flying tank in which can be airdrop in to the battlefield for soldiers or for partisans. The task was given to Oleg Antonov to design the aircraft, the tank was a t-60 light tank but due to weight decided to strip the tank it's armor, main gun and head lights. It was to be a glider so that it can be towed by a Petlyakov Pe-8 or a Tupolev TB and on september 2, 1942 was flown by pilot Sergei Anokhin and landed safely in a nearby runway. the project proved to be a dismal failure and it was scraped
