One of the two Italian fighters Fiat CR.32 transferred in the Soviet Union after their capture by the Spanish Republican Forces. The two planes, a part of some CR.32s captured during the Spanish Civil War, was evaluated by the Russians and later recovered by the Germans at the Kharkov university. A Soviet tank brigade of 86 T-34's attacked the positions of SS-Aufkl.Abt. 2 "Das Reich" near Kolomak/Russia on September 13, 1943. They were engaged by 14 "Panthers".
78 tanks were knocked out, 1 Panther was destroyed and several damaged, the positions were held.
