The last WW2 leader

King Mihai I of Romania is the last leader from World War II that is still alive. He arrested the actual head of State Marshal Ion Antonescu at 23 August 1944. The act of 23 August 1944 has raised a series of controversies between historians, some considering him a traitor because his actions helped the russians take over Romania and Central Europe much faster; and a significant part of the historians consider him to be a world hero because he shortened the war with almost an year thus saving millions of lives and preventing Hitler from creating superweapons. The left photo is with king Mihai I during WW2 and the right photo is afther his speach in the Romanian Parliment at 25 October 2011 with the occasion of his 90th birthday.
